Family History, Onyett Chart 0604 Jabez Onyett and Eady (Edy Edith) Clarke

1841 Bencroft, Warboys, Huntingdonshire, Lodging with the was John HARVEY (35) Male Servant born Huntingdonshire, Next door was Jabez ONYETT and family. 1851 High Street, Warboys, Huntingdonshire. I think this is the right family, my sister had Jabez's wife down a Ivy and it does indeed look like this on the 1841 Census, but on this Census it is definitely Edith, after this it varies between Edy Eady and Edith, so I think she was known as Edy, so the Ivy is very likely what the enumerator thought her name was. At present we are not certain as to when the name actually became ONYETT. As there are several variants in the spelling I have put the name ONYETT first on all the charts and then followed that with the spelling for that particular chart and indexed the whole line under ONYETT. ie ONYETT/UNYAT Chart 0700. The actual name as we have it appears for the actual people on the Chart.
