    There are two baptisms with Albert Obed OVERINGTON as father and Charlotte Frances as mother but cannot find at present on the 1901 Census. I believe they then emigrated to Australia.

There is a Robert Trevor at 3 Marmion Street, Mt. Barker, a Telephone Tech. at the same address as Robert Trevor is a Margaret June HOWELLS, Home Duties whom I presume is his wife. This ties up with two of the children I believe Thomas and Myra had.

    I believe this couple had four children Robert, Max, Colin, Kevin and that Sybil possibly had another child a Marie as Trevor is down at stepfather to Marie, whereas Sybil is down as mother. (Robert,  Max and Colin appear on various Australian Electoral Rolls, all of them up until 1980 which is the last Electoral Roll that appears on Ancestry.com). There is then a Kevin John HOWELLS who appears in Queensland form 1963 to 1980 who could be the fourth child.

  7. 1911 Albert, Charlotte and family arrived at Albany, Western Australia, Australia from London on the 8th January 1911 on the "Rimutaka" I cannot read the name of this child, it seems to suggest Hannah but I cannot find a Hannah birth in Sussex/Surrey/Hampshire in 1908 that fits and nothing else seems to match. I did think the an Oliver Arthur which comes up with other members on the Electoral Roll was possibly the right person but have now found that his is a brother of Albert Obed and he also emigrated to Australia. Through a Family Tree on Ancestry I now believe that the last child was a Gilbert Edwin and have entered as such above. He appears on the Australia Electoral Roll.

    I have now changed the Charts, so the main heading duplicates the name on the Chart ie OVERTUN, OVERTON, OVERINGTON etc - there are lots of variants. However all the link boxes are OVERTUN and the list in the Index are all spelt OVERTUN. This is so that all the names are in one position and in order in the contents list.

    This start off a a fairly easy and small chart to put on, I only had two children and I did not think it would take long, However there are lots and lots of entries on the Australian Electoral Roll which keeps giving me clues to more details about the families and also then found details of their emigration. So it might take some time to put all the information on this Chart. At present having trouble getting into Australian Electoral Roll, so will come back to this Chart.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
