    I believe that Ethel Maud RAPERSBY was born as Ethel Maud RUPPERSBERG, it quite often happened that people with German sounding names changed their names throughout the period of the WWI. However there is some doubt as birth date as shown above is shown as 22nd November 1892 a baptims I have found for Ethel Maud with mother as Elizabeth and father as William occurred before that date in the same year.
