  1. 1871 Census - Malden Rushlett, Surrey
    1881 Kingston Road, Leatherhead, Surrey
1891 Malden Rushett, Chessington, Surrey (next door to parent)
  2. 1891 Malden Rushett, Chessington, Surrey (next door to parent)
1901 Census - 26 Albion Road, Reigate, Surrey - Having been given the information that Alice died in Reigate, Surrey in 1905 I have now found Alice on the 1901 Census in Reigate.
  3. 1891 Malden Rushett, Chessington, Surrey (next door to parent)
1901 Census - Carter Boys Home, Clapham, Surrey. Having been given this information in Note 4 I have now found Sydney, he is down as Sidney with an "i" which is why I missed him before. Still have not found Alfred on the 1895 Census.
  4. 1891 Malden Rushett, Chessington, Surrey (next door to parent)
1901 Cottage Home, Knebworth, Hertfordshire. It would appear that Isaac and Alice had died by the 1901 Census as Isaac appears as an orphan at this address. There is a matron and six orphans with her.
  5. I was contacted by a Lorna OVERINGTON about this family on the 2nd August 2007. This has given me new information regarding the people above. The information she has given me at present is as follows: My husband is related to Sidney and Isaac Overington by their brother Alfred Leonard who was born in 1895. The information I have is that Alice died in 1905 in Reigate Surrey. Sidney was in the Carters boys home in Clapham in 1901 we cannot find any information on Alfred and we think he might have been in a Barnardos home but we know he went to Canada with one or both of the brothers in about 1909/1910 and he served we think in the Scottish Canadians in WW1
1916 Canadian Expeditionary Force - address given as 249 St John Street, Portland, Maine, USA. down as being born in Guildford, Surrey, Next of Kin given as Mrs Fannie OVERINGTON of Reigate, Surrey, England, and as an Aunt

I have now changed the Charts, so the main heading duplicates the name on the Chart ie OVERTUN, OVERTON, OVERINGTON etc - there are lots of variants. However all the link boxes are OVERTUN and the list in the Index are all spelt OVERTUN. This is so that all the names are in one position and in order in the contents list.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
