1881 15 Samuel Street, Limehouse, Middlesex. With them was a Thomas ANCONA a Boarder aged 49 a General Carman born Harwich, Essex and his wife Margaret aged 46 born Limehouse, Middlesex. 1891 18 Pole Street, Mile End Old Town, London. 1898 20a Newling Street, Bethnal Green, London (at marriage) 1899 There is a Walter John OVERINGTON baptised 8th March 1899 at St Mary Haggerston, Hackney, London with a Walter John as Father and a Mary Ann as mother who must be a child of this couple. 1899 It would appear that the Walter John OVERINGTON baptised in 1899 died in June quarter 1899 Bethnal Green district, London 1901 Not found at present 1911 Not found at present 1918 44 Priory Grove, Lambeth, London (London Electoral Roll) This is the only Walter John OVERINGTON I have found so I do believe it is the correct one, we know his wife died in 1899 and I can find no second marriage for him. He does not appear on any electoral roll other than by himself, this is the first one he appears on, he then appears regularly until 1935 1838 There is a death for a Walter J OVERINGTON in Battersea district London in June quarter 1938 which ties up with the Electoral Roll as this was where he was living on the last Electoral Roll that he appears on, however they have his down as being 70 years old which makes his birth date 1868 whereas he was born in 1875. I therefore have my doubts about this being the correct Walter, which would mean the Electoral Roll entries are not for our Walter, so at present I have only added this as a note and only entered the one entry from the Electoral Roll. 1898 20a Newling Street, Bethnal Green, London (at marriage) Father Henry John TERRELL - Porter 1899 There is a Walter John OVERINGTON baptised 8th March 1899 at St Mary Haggerston, Hackney, London with a Walter John as Father and a Mary Ann as mother who must be a child of this couple. 1899 It would appear that the Walter John OVERINGTON baptised in 1899 died in June quarter 1899 Bethnal Green district, London I have now changed the Charts, so the main heading duplicates the name on the Chart ie OVERTUN, OVERTON, OVERINGTON etc - there are lots of variants. However all the link boxes are OVERTUN and the list in the Index are all spelt OVERTUN. This is so that all the names are in one position and in order in the contents list.
