Have not been able to find on Censuses before 1911 but I believe family was in India, His father was a Richard Parker PITCHFORTh, Mother Mary THOMPSON, a brother Hector James Henry PITCHFORTH baptised in India and a sister Maude May Eleanore PITCHFORTH also baptised in India. 1911 Return of all Commissioned Officers, Warrant Officers, Non-Commissioned Officer, Trumpeters, Drummers and Rank and File Appear to be in India although 1911 England Census.
