    1891 139 Needen Street, Atterclife cum Damall, Yorkshire. With the family was a Thomas HUTTON Fatherin Law a Widower aged 74 a Retired Moulder born Hockabridge, Yorkshire Although HUTTON on this census the name was HATTON
    1901 25 Woodside Lane, Brightsie Bierlow, Sheffield, Yorkshire. John was with his wife's parents a George HAIGH aged 53 a Labourer Ironworks and his wife Annie aged 59 both born Sheffield, Yorkshire. Then there is Lily and John and then their children John POULTON aged 3 and Emily POULTON aged 1 both born Sheffield, Yorkshire.

John and his wife are still with her parents, George HAIGH aged 64 born Sheffield, Yorkshire (Brick Setter) and his wife Ann aged 69 a Cutter Down born Sheffield, Yorkshire. They are shown as having been married for 37 years and having had 10 children, 6 of whom survive and 4 of whom who have died. Then there is John and his wife Lilly down as son in Law and Daughter, Lilly is down as having been married 15 years and having had 7 children all of whom survive at the date of this Census.
