Hampshire 1907 10 Finsbury Square, St Luke, Old Street, Islington, Middlesex (address at marriage) 1911 58 Halstow Road, Greenwich, London shown as married with 1 out of 2 surviving children. Living with sister Claribel HEESON and her family. A General Domestic Servant was Sarah TADMAN (28) single born Greenwich. Kent On the 1911 census Herbert is living with his brother-in-law and is shown as married with but no wife or child present. Usually information about children is entered for wives but in this instance the details were entered for Herbert and then crossed through. He is shown as having been married for 4 years, having 2 children of which 1 survives. Herbert's wife was a patient in a Convalescent Home therefore as the surviving child is not living with either parent in 1911 we have no information about him/her. 1911 Possible address. German Convalescent Home, Belslow Lane, Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Ethel PRIOR was a patient, married 4 years, 2 children with one of them living. This information corresponds with that of her husband so unless we receive alternative information we are assuming this is the correct Ethel. We have no way of finding the living child. On the 1911 census Herbert is living with his brother-in-law and is shown as married with but no wife or child present.
