  1. IGI Marriage. Father of Isaac is shown as Isaac. I think having found this that Isaac was actually born in 1807  There is a baptism of a Jonathan RACE on 3rd October 1824 in Horningsheath, Suffolk with an Isaac RACE as father and a Sarah WILLINGHAM as mother.  The other siblings that come up are as follows:

    Sarah RACE baptised 17th May 1812 Horningsheath, Suffolk

    Esther RACE baptised 22nd December 1818 Horningsheath, Suffolk

  2. There is a baptism on the IGI for an Isaac RACE on 9th June 1844 in Horningsheath, Suffolk. Father Isaac, mother Caroline LINGE. I have already seen Census returns with an Isaac RACE born Horningsheath with a Caroline as his wife.

  8. IGI Baptism - Parents given as John and Susanah LING. There are four children for John and Susannah, they were all baptised on 21st January 1810 at Elveden, Suffolk so I expect that was why the birth dates were given. As well as Caroline, there was Martha, born 14th August 1804, Susannah born 5th August 1805 and Eliza born 28th June 1808
  9. 1881 Census - Horringer Street, Horringer, Suffolk. The family before them on the Census at the same address was an Isaac RACE down as being 39 years old, but I think it but be Isaac and Caroline's son, even though age does not quite tie up with what we have above.
  10. 1881 Census - Horringer Street, Horringer, Suffolk. Children on this Census - (all born Horringer and all Scholars) Margaret 13, Agnes 10, Alice 8 and Herbert 4.
  11. 1871 Census - No 51 Street, Horningsheath, Suffolk. Isaac is Head of Household with his wife but his son Isaac his wife and three children are with them
