  1. 1851 Census - West End of High Street, Warboys, Huntingdonshire
1861 Census - West End, Warboys, Huntingdonshire
1871 Census - Channel, Higher Booths, Lancashire.. Details as shown for Charles and Emma on Chart above, they had a child, a Charlotte who was either 5 months, weeks or days, it is a job to see. However an entry has been added for her which says Dead 2nd April. This also has the entry Schedule returned having removed. There is a line through the Charlotte entry.
1881 Census - Reedlesdine Buildings, Higher Booths, Lancashire
1891 Census - 38 Hindle Street, Accrington, Lancashire
1901 Census - 42 Hindle street, Accrington, Lancashire
1911 42 Hindle Street, Accrington, Lancashire. There was a Boarder a Joseph HALL aged 24 an Electricians Labourer born Saint Paul, Sheerness, Kent.
The marriages for Thomas and Charles have been found on the BMD, I think they are correct but Charles's wife is down as being Mary Emma, on the Censuses she is Emma M. Also I would think it is correct and the wives are related, although the BMD shows the names as HERMON and HERMAN, I think it is too much of coincidence not to be the same surname.
The spelling of the surname REED varies from Census to Census and on the BMD, it can be found as REED or READ or REID and it is worth looking for all three alternatives.
  2. 1871 Census - Channel, Higher Booths, Lancashire..

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
