    Lottie Kwak, formerly of North Pennsylvania Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, died Thursday at Little Flower Manor, Wilkes-Barre.
    She was born on April 7, 1912 in Dupont, daughter of the late Joseph and Philipina Kutzmas Rogus. She was employed by B.F. Goodrich, Wilkes-Barre, for several years. She and her late husband, Joseph J., owned and operated Kwak's Restaurant on North Pennsylvania Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, until 1972.
    She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. She served as a democratic committee woman for numerous years in the city's North End.
    She was also preceded in death by a brother, John; sisters, Josephine Watchalonis, Mary Ripski and Sophia Baratta
    Surviving are sons, Joseph J., Wilkes-Barre; John J., Mesa, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Albert, Fort Meyers, Fla.; sister, Bernadine Babkowski, Kendal, N.J.; nieces and nephews.
    The funeral will be held Monday at 9 from Lisman Funeral Home, 233 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. Friends may call Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

    ROGUS JOSEPH ALBERT ROGUS, age 84 of Hudson and formerly of Fort Myers, FL. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Vaughn) Rogus; loving father of Alice Birkel, Patricia Rogus, Carol (Dan) Sullivan, Michael Rogus, Joanne (Gary) Haseley, John (Anne) Rogus, Mary (Mark) Joyce and Elizabeth (Rocky) Munoz; dear grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of three; brother of the late Josephine Watchulonis, Mary Ripski, Loretta Kwak, Sophia Baratta, John Rogus and Bernadine Babkowski; brother-in-law of Kathleen Rogus and the late Charles D.     BERNADINE BABKOWSKI
    AGE: 79 KENDALL PARK
    Bernadine Babkowski, 79, of Kendall Park, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at her home. She was born June 24, 1930 in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late Joseph and Philipena (Kuczmes) Rogus. Bernadine was a graduate of Coughlin High School, class of 1947 and a graduate of the Wyoming Valley Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1951. Bernadine married her husband, Theodore on June 14, 1952 and moved to Brooklyn, N.Y., starting her new life and family. Mrs. Babkowski was a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Kendall Park.
    She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Theodore Babkowski, on Feb. 21, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Josephine Watchulonis, Lottie Kwak, Mary Ripski, and Sophia Baratta; and a brother, John Rogus. Bernadine will be dearly missed by her sons, Richard Babkowski, Fort Collins, Colo., and Thomas Babkowski and his wife, Kelly, Hamilton; her loving daughter, Debra Babkowski, Warrington, Pa.; brother, Joseph Albert Rogus, Hudson, Ohio; along with her adored grandsons, Aidan, Timothy, Christopher and Brennon; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
    Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 6 at the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, June 7 from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:30 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 666 North Main St., Wilkes-Barre. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.

    Information for Theodore BABKOWSKI
    Theodore Babkowski, 91, of Kendall Park, N.J., formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at his home. He was born November 1, 1918 in Wilkes-Barre Township, a son of the late Stanley and Anna Babkowski. Ted served as a Merchant Marine from 1935 to 1946, serving during World War II. In 1946 he was asked to join the Seafarer's International Union as a Port Agent. Ted served the East Coast out of Brooklyn, N.Y. He later moved to Seattle, Wash., where he served as a Port Agent of the Pacific Rim. In 1963, he moved back to the East Coast, where he served as a Port Agent for the East Coast and Europe, until his retirement in 1983. During his long career as a Seaman, he served 37 years as a liaison for the Seafarer's International Union in Washington, D.C. Ted was a loving husband and father and a proud grandfather. He was preceded in death by his brothers John, Leo and Walter Babkowski; and by his sisters Anna Stesnek, Florence Scripik, Helen Murray, Wanda Kosenak and Jean Murray. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Bernadine Rogus Babkowski; sons Richard Babkowski, Fort Collins, Colo.; Thomas Babkowski and his wife, Kelly, Hamilton, N.J.; daughter Debra Babkowski, Warrington, Pa.; grandchildren Aidan, Timothy and Christopher Babkowski; as well as nieces and nephews.
