    1911 12 Childs Street, Earls Court, SW. Lily is down as having been married 12 ears and having had 5 children only one still living and 4 have died at the date of this Census. She is down as being at Home and born in Lambeth and is 31 years old Child with the Ellen Mildred SAMWORTH aged 18 months born Earls Court. There were 4 lodgers with the Harry BECK aged 45 down as being married 16 years and having no children and being unemployed, His wife Eliza BECK is with him aged 49 occupation at Home and down as being born in Sculthorpe, Norfolk, then John ELKING aged 71 married 23 years and a Pensioner born Earls Court and his wife Mrs Mary ELKINS aged 60 a Charwoman born Notting Hill.
    William and Lily are down as having had 5 children 4 of whom who had died at the 1911 Census. Baptisms actually show 3 of the 4 children who died, they were:
    William George baptised St Andrew, Lambeth on 29th July 1900
    Lilian Emmeline baptised St Andrew, Lambeth on 8th May 1902 and
    Violet Lucy baptised St Matthias, Earls Court on 3rd February 1905
