1871 Census - 15 The Dane, Margate, Kent. 1881 Census - Although Jethro SANDWELL was back at home by the 1891 Census, he was married on the 1881 Census. He was living at 20A Bath Road, Margate St John Baptist, Kent. 1891 Census - 2 Northumberland Road, Margate, Kent, 1901 Census - 48 Northumberland Road, Margate, Kent. 1881 Census - Although Jethro SANDWELL was back at home by the 1891 Census, he was married on the 1881 Census. He was living at 20A Bath Road, Margate St John Baptist, Kent. 1891 Census - Jethro was with his family on the 1891 Census, see note 4, however his wife is down as Head living at 22 Bath Road, Cliftonville, Margate, Kent. She is down as married and is a Charwoman. There are a lot more children, 1901 Census - Again Jethro is with his parents for this Census, but his family are still living at 20A Bath Road, Margate, Kent. Elizabeth, down as wife, not widow, which we know she was not, is aged 44 born Winchfield, Hampshire. There were two visitors, a Elizabeth Emptage, age 40 a Dressmaker, born Margate, Kent and Nellie Emptage, age 14, born Margate, Kent. The BMD information has changed since I did this chart, there is now a Robert Jethrow SANDWELL who married as I now have it above in Berkshire. Although he had put the Robert before the Jethrow, I am now certain that this is the correct marriage, especially as it is in Berkshire and it gives me the correct Christian names for his wife and therefore I now have her surname. 1911 Mutrix Near Margate, Kent. She is down as married and is a Charwoman.
