  1. 1851 High Street, Warboys, Huntingdonshire
1861 Street, Warboys, Huntingdonshire. John T IRISH, Grandson was with James on the Census. Servants were Elizabeth RICHARDSON (19) Dairy Maid and Henry READ (16) Carter both born Warboys, Huntingdonshire
1871 Bakehouse, Upwood, Huntingdonshire. Children: Alfred 4 and James 1 both born Upwood, Huntingdonshire. A Mary HARPER was a servant.
1881 14 Sturton Street, St Andrew the Less, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.
Cannot find Thomas and Elizabeth after the 1881 Census, there are deaths that could fit for both but there is more than one so not certain which one is correct.
  2. 1871 Bakehouse, Upwood, Huntingdonshire. Children: Alfred 4 and James 1 both born Upwood, Huntingdonshire. A Mary HARPER was a servant.
1881 14 Sturton Street, St Andrew the Less, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. I am certain this is this family but there are lots of dicrepancies in the information given, firstly Thomas is down as being 40 which makes him born in 1841, Elizabeth in down as being 37 but that would make her born in 1844, and Elizabeth, Alfred and James on the index are down as being born in Upware, Huntingdonshire, but when looking closely at the Census I think it is Upwood as it should be, so I think it is just the ages that are wrong and as Elizabeth was a lot older than Thomas perhaps they gave the wrong ages, again Thomas might have said his wife was born in ?37 and the enumerator thought that was her age rather than the year she was born in, etc, etc.

  3. 1871 Bakehouse, Upwood, Huntingdonshire. Children: Alfred 4 and James 1 both born Upwood, Huntingdonshire. A Mary HARPER was a servant.

1891 Union Road, Chesterton, Cambridgeshire. Alfred was a boarder with a Caroline PITT, aged 70 a widow, born Great Shelford, Cambridgeshire
1901 Salvation Army Waste Paper Works, Battersea, Wandsworth, London. Alfred is down at this address but everything ties in except he is down as being born in Upwood, Dorset but I think this is a mistake.
  4. 1871 Bakehouse, Upwood, Huntingdonshire. Children: Alfred 4 and James 1 both born Upwood, Huntingdonshire. A Mary HARPER was a servant.
1881 14 Sturton Street, St Andrew the Less, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. 1891 District Dr Barnados Homes, Ratcliffe, (Her Majesty's Hospital) Stepney Causeway, London. James is 21 and is down as being born in Upwood, Huntingdonshire, so think it is the correct one. He is down as Inmate, and then General Labourer

1891 17 Clarenden Street, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. Kate was a servant to a John LAMBERT and family.

NOTE - At the beginning of the line the name is UNNIOT and through the years it changes until today it is ONYETT. At present we are not certain as to when the name actually became ONYETT. As there are several variants in the spelling I have put the name ONYETT first on all the charts and then followed that with the spelling for that particular chart and indexed the whole line under ONYETT. ie ONYETT/UNYAT Chart 0700. The actual name as we have it appears for the actual people on the Chart.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
