1832 Garlinge, St John, Margate, Kent 1833 Margate, Kent 1835 Margate, Kent 1840 Garlinge, St John, Margate, Kent 1851 Census - Street, Margate, Kent 1861 Census - Street Green, Margate, Kent - Stephen and Frederick were down as Ag Labs 1871 Census - Street, Garling, Margate, Kent. I think this is the right couple as Stephen is a Farm Labourer aged 61 which makes him about five years younger than he should be and he is down as being born in Monkton, Kent (Ancestry.com had it as Maidstone, Kent) His wife Elizabeth, is shown as born in Acol and is aged 60, should be 58. He is down as an Ag Lab. Overall, with address the same as 1861 I am certain this is the couple above. No other people in house. 1881 Sheete Cottages, St John, Margate, Kent 1851 Census - Street, Margate, Kent 1861 Census - Street Green, Margate, Kent - Stephen and Frederick were down as Ag Labs 1871 Census - Street, Garling, Margate, Kent. However I am certain because of the addresses and where they were born that it is the same couple all the time. On the 1901 Census Frederick says he is 49 and Elizabeth (down as Lizzie) says she is 47. On the 1891 Census Frederick is 45 and Elizabeth is 40. From the 1881 Census and the baptism date for Frederick that he was in 1891 actually 50 and Elizabeth was 47, so by the 1901 Census he had cut 11 years off his age and ELizabeth had cut 10 years off hers.
