    Notes
    On the British War Records he shows his last employment was with father for 8 years who was Edward SIMMONS (Father) Builder, 7 York Place, Fulham, Hammersmith. which is the reason I believe this is the correct Morris. However he does on the military records in one place show his name as Maurice Edward whereas is should be Maurice or Morris Sydney.
    The only Morris Sydney SIMMONS I can find is as a Member of a Grand Lodge in South Africa but the occupation given on the two instances there are as a Bookkeeper and the first date for this is in 1912 where he was a Plumbers Mate on the 1911 Census. Because of the above employment showing his father with correct employment and at the same address as his sister Ethel was at her marriage I do believe this is the correct person.
