1871 Census - 63 Plains of Waterloo, Ramsgate, Kent
1881 Census - 20 Wellington Lees, Ramsgate, Kent. The child Charlotte Amy was down as Amy on the 1871 Census and as Charlotte on the 1881 Census, having found her on the BMD as Charlotte Amy I am certain it is the same child and not two different ones. With the family is a Frederick BONE, a Cousin, aged 17 a Draughtsman, born London and a Joseph P SIMMONS, grandson, aged 14 born London
1891 Census - 20 Wellington Crescent, Ramsgate, Kent. With Joseph and Harriet were their daughter Charlotte and her husband, a servant and five lodgers.
Found this marriage on the BMD. There were two Harriet's listed in this quarter and when it first came up I thought we had found another connection as the other Harriet was a Harriet Langridge DANTON who already appears in out family, but I already have her marriage and details and she married a Stephen PAIN, these leaves this marriage at the other Harriet, a Harriet Collins
1894 National Probate - SIMMONS Joseph Price of 9 Belleue-road Ramsgate blacksmith died 18 March 1894 Probate 20 April to Harriett Simmons widow Effect £137 6s.

1901 Census - 104 George Row, Bermondsey, London
I have found all the children on the BMD in Thanet except for Joseph and George.
  6. 1861 Census - 9 Plains of Waterloo, Ramsgate, Kent
1871 Census - 63 Plains of Waterloo, Ramsgate, Kent
1881 Census - 15 Queen Street, Horsleydown, St John, Southwark, Surrey. George was with his brother Joseph and family
1891 Census - 14 Curlew Street, Horsley Down, St Olave, Southwark, London. Still working on which child is which and assuming it was Helen that married George Webb SIMMONS there is a couple who meet the situation at this address. Both born Ramsgate, Helen's age is 36 so making the 1846 all but right as I have it above. I therefore think that what I now have above is the correct situation. Again they had children, a George aged 5 born Horsleydown, Surrey and a Arthur aged 2 also born Horsleydown, Surrey
1901 Census - 14 Curlew Street, Horsley Down, St Olave, Southwark, London. Down as Ellen SIMMONS, she is a widow, aged 44 a Needlewoman, shirts, born Ramsgate, Kent. Her son Arthur is still with her aged 12 born Horsley Down, Southwark.
I have found all the children on the BMD in Thanet except for Joseph and George.

Found the marriage of Caroline Emily as shown which I feel must be the correct one, but cannot find on the 1891 or 1901 Census.

1881 Census - 20 Wellington Lees, Ramsgate, Kent. The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
