    1911 38 Somerset Road, Boscombe, Bournemouth, Hampshire (down as Rose) A very confusing census, lots of people on it. Rosalinda's mother also down as Rose are bottom of the list she is down as Mother aged 57 a widowand although crossed through she is down as having been married 32 years and having had 11 children 5 survive and 6 have died at the date of this Cenus she is down as a Cook Domestic born born Meon Stoke, then there is Rose followed by Wittle (SIC) EARNEY son aged 10 born Bournemouth. Then going to top of liist the Head was a William NEWELL aged 29 a Marine Store Dealer born Mickelmersh, Hampshire and his wife Annie aged 28 down a being married 4 years and having had 2 children both survive at the daTe of this Census she was a LaundRess and born in Bournemouth, Hampshire. Children with them Roy aged 3 born BoScombe, Hampshire and Irene aged 1 born Boscombe, Hampshire. Then there is Alfred EARNEY Brother aged 30 a Barman born Bournemouth, Hampshire and his wife FloreNCe down as Brothers wife aged 30 she is down as having been married 1 year and having had 1 child who survives at the date of this Census and she was born is South AfricA by British Parentage, Their daughter was Doris aged 8 months and no birth place is given.
