    There is a birth of a Hebert Walker SMITH in 1881 in Steyning, Sussex, this is the only one that comes up as Herbert Walker SMITH.

    1962 30 Ross Road, London S.E.25 (address given at probate) also she is down as a single woman, which does not seem correct. (I think they divorced and Raymond married again in 1960).
    Son was Michael Colchester BOTT born June quarter 1932 Croydon district, Surrey and he married in December quarter 1964 in Croydon district Surrey to Muriel J HUTT
  5. 1911 High Street, Three Bridges, Sussex. I think Leila is with a Maria MOWN at this address. Maria was a Widow aged 87 born Southwark, London. she had two daughters and a son-in-law with her, and four boarder including Leila Mabel SMITH aged 2 born Croydon, Surrey, but Leila's name is down a Leila Mabel Walker SMITH as we have Leila Mabel C SMITH which I would have thought stood for Colchester but her fathers name was Herbert Walker SMITH so I do think it is the correct child, but why was she here as a boarder at the age of two. Her sisters were with their Grandparents, her mother had died in 1909. There is a Herbert Walker SMITH at 35 Bargery Road Catford, London, with his parents he is down as being born in 1881, a Bank Clerk but he is down as being born in Brighton, Sussex, however he is down as a Widower. His parent were Keeble SMITH aged 63 a Machinery Agent born Stepney, London and Eliza SMITH aged 66 born Ratcliffe, London, there were three sisters with Herbert.
