Guilmette, 85, formerly of Hewitt Street, town of Schaghticoke and Platroon Place, Ballston Lake, died at Schuyler Ridge Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Violet (Smith) Smith and the widow of Fred A. Guilmette, who died in 2002. She was a secretary for Frank Kussala, former Rensselaer County Clerk. She also worked part time as a clerk for the NYS Department of Taxation. She was a member of the Jonesville United Methodist Church, where she participated in the Alpha Program and the Disciple Bible Study Program. She was also a member of the Pithany Sisters of Mechanicville. Survivors include her son, Fred W. Guilmette and his wife, Martha of Ballston Lake; three grandchildren...; two great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
