Grove of Lakemba,was married to Mr. Clive Snelling, of Granville, by the Rev. Mr. Bonner The attractive bride who was given away by her father, wore a graceful gown of white chiffon over satin, made on classical lines with a long train. A veil of cut tulle was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet of tiger lilies and tuberoses. Miss Grove (bride's sister) was the bridesmaid. She word a charming frock of lupin blue and silver lame. A Coronet of blue feathers and a bouquet of which roses, gladiola, and delphiniums completed the ensemble. Joan Snelling (Gosford)., the dainty flower girl, wore an Empire frock of spotted white taffeta and a wreath of blue delphiniums in her hair. She carried a posy of the same flowers, The bridegroom, who is the third son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Snelling, of Hewlett Street, Granville, was attended by Mr. Ray Snelling as best-man, Mr. Athol Angel presided at the organ, and Mr Eric Angel assisted at the violin. At the reception Mrs. Grove who received the quests wore a smart frock of black continental crepe trimmed with white, and matching accessories. She was assisted by Mrs. Snelling, who wore a frock of brown floral sheer with matching accessories. The tables were prettily decorated. The lovely wedding cake was made and decorated by the bridegroom's Uncle and Aunt, Mr and Mrs Dowland, of Carlingford. Mr Ferguson was chairman and also M.C. During the evening he asked the guests to join him in wishing farewell to Mr Harold ("Mick") Langford assistant M.C., on the eve of his departure for Lismore.
