    1941 The New House, Grays Road, Farncombe, Surrey (at burial) (is shown as 2nd place in double grave so perhaps wife had died before him) (Proven as have found her burial in 1939)
    Note:
    A Phillip Henry STEVENS married an Ellen E STEVENS March quarter 1915 in the Hambledon District, Surrey. This is confusing Ellen Elizabeth STEVENS has the same birth registration details as Philip's sister Elizabeth Hester leading us to believe she belonged to this family. There were two other children in this family where the registration details were the same as two other children who do not belong to this family. Apparently using the same reference number for a number of children seems to have happened for several families in the Hambledon District, in one instance 8 children all had the same reference number.

  6. There is an  Ernest George STEVENS who died in December 1993 in Birmingham, Warwickshire aged 69 who is shown as being born on 17th May 1924 so two days difference to the birth date we have.
