They were then living at 62 Box Tree Road, Harrow Weald, Middlesex, England. They moved out and took a train to Annabella's family home, The Bungalow, Muir-of-Ord, Ross-shire, Scotland. Patricia was then enrolled at the village school 29th October 1940. Francis got employment with the Canadian Treasury in Dingwall so the family moved into a flat on the High St, Dingwall and Patricia went to Dingwall Academy at the foot of Ben Wyvis.
