Mr. Terry was born Nov. 17 1883 in Union Springs, N.Y., and had resided in Ellsworth for twenty-eight years coming from Cleveland. Three years ago he retired as a foreman in the coupling department of the Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. Mr. Terry was a member of the Ellsworth Presbyterian church and Ellsworth grange No. 1857. Besides his wife the former Bertha Becker, whom he married Oct. 25, 1911, he leaves four sons Robert of Elsworth, Chester of North Jackson, Watson of Cuyahoga Falls and Donald of Austintown: two brothers, John and William Terry of Cleveland and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services, with Rev. D. H. Funk in charge, were held Monday afternoon at the church and burial made in the Lutheran cemetery near Newton Falls. Mrs Terry was born March 21, 1887 , in Newton Falls, a daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Homeier Becker, coming to Canfield in 1911 and moving to Twinsberg two years ago. She was a member of the Ellisworth Presbyterian Church, Grange and Extension Club. Her husband, Leon M,. who she married in 1911, died in 1955. She leaves four sons, Robert L of Ellsworth, Chester H, of Norh Jackson, Henry W. of Twinsberg, with whom she made her home, and G. Terry, age 91 of Briarfield at Ashely Place, formerly of North Jackson who died in the emergency room at St. Elizabeth Hospital early Saturday morning. Chester was born March 25, 1915 in Montreal, Canada and was the son of the late Leon M. and Bertha B. (Becker) Terry. Chester retired in 1977 from L.T.V. Steel where he had been a sheet roller. He was a 1934 graduate of Canfield High School and had been an avid fisherman. Chester is survived by his wife, the former Marion Cowen whom he married Dec. 28, 1940. He also leaves three sons, Chester Terry, Jr. of Niles, Lawrence M. Terry of Cortland, Timothy W. Terry of Columbus, one brother Donald Terry of Phoenix, Arizona, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers Robert and Henry W. Terry.
