There was another boarder a Bertram HIBBARD aged 22 a Labourer born Alberbury, Wiltshire. There is an Alfred James TOMS on the BMD born December quarter 1881 who could be this James. There is also an Alfred James TOMS born 1882 in Bere Regis on the 1901 Census. As he was not with his family and I cannot find as a death I think this is the same person as we had as James on the 1891 Census, so I have changed him to Alfred James above and added the 1901 Census details. Between 1879 when Rachel Maria was born and 1886 when Charles was born the only James birth registered in the Wareham District, Dorset was an Alfred James TOMS born December quarter 1881 1891 Shitterton Hamlet, Bere Regis, Dorset.
