The Sydney Morning Herald Saturday 29th October 1938 COUNCIL FOREMAN FOUND DEAD Woodburn, Friday Decimus TOOVEY of Carali, foreman for the Richmond Rive County Council, was found dead in a tent on the back of Tuckombil Creek, Woodburn, where in company with S. Carroll , another employee of the council, he had been removing hyacinth from the cress. The body was taken to the Caraki Hospital, where an examination shwoed that death was due to heart disease. On death entry, Father shown as Andrew, mother as Hannah. Child that show on the NSW BMD records with Decimus J as father and Annie H as mother.
