According to the 1851 census this is a son. I have searched for a birth for a WALLER born Sussex in 1845 +/- 2 (so from 1843-1847). The only entries in the Horsham district for a male were for: Charles James, December 1846. There were no entries anywhere in Sussex which looked like Meand. The only other entries in the Horsham District were in the March quarter 1844 for a Louisa and in June quarter 1845 for a Sarah
Because of baptism Sarah appears to be a child of this couple and born in 1845. So if correct why is Meand? down as a son on 1851 Census.

1911 In a Shed, Sherborne Farm, Albury, Surrey The 1911 census was obviously completed by someone other than Alfred and has him born in Chiddingfold, Surrey. The handwriting is the same as that entered where the address is usually found. It says: "On information of Police" and is signed E.T. P Registrar. Given this situation it was probably understandable that the incorrect age at death was shown in the Index in 1927.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
