    It was told to me by my grandmother, Clarie WHEATON, that Louvisia died when her children were young. The children were "farmed out" to other families. I believe Louvisia's death occurred before 1910, as census reports of 1910 list her children at separate residences, some as "boarders".

    Perry registered for the WW1 draft in 1917 in Geyserville, CA which is several miles  north of Healdsburg and near the family's Healdsburg Road residence. In 1917 he was employed with the American Fish Company in Sacramento, CA where  he worked as a fisherman. His address listed as 419 M Street in that city.  This location is a few blocks from the Sacramento River

    Bessie Married Frank FOSTER, age 24, on January 16, 1908 in Tehama County, CA. Residing in Corning, CA. Bessie was age 16. I found that Frank was the son of George and Adda FOSTER who lived in a rented house on Front Street in Healdsburg, CA in year 1900. The FOSTER family came to California from Oregon between 1893 and 1895. George FOSTER was a day laborer. No further record of Bessie and Frank Foster.

    My grandmother, Clarie WHEATON, told me that her sister-in-law Ruth worked in San Francisco at a photography studio. She never married or had children.

    My grandmother Clarie WHEATON referred to her brother-in-law as "Lee".
