    Herded cattle herds north to south before settling down in Liberal KS area, where he homesteaded and ranched. Moved from OH to Liberal about time son Floyd was about 1 so about 1886. Moved to ARK about 1910? to Siloam Springs, bought 10 acres then place in town (have photo of town home-brick home on Jefferson) and owned a rental by the university. about 1941-2 got a letter that an air base was going in-discontinued project. Jan 43 resume-family got $50/acre for land.
