    On Thursday afternoon there was a very pretty wedding in St. Mary's parish church, Bury st. Edmund's. The contracting parties were Mr. Albert George Woods, of Avenue Approach, Out Northgate, and Miss Alice Mary Orbell Brewster, eldest daughter of Mr. H. Brewster, of the Half Moon hotel. The bride was becomingly attired in a travelling dress of grey hopsac, and wore a trimmed hat to match. She carried a handsome bouquet, the gift of the bridegroom. Attending her were two bridesmaids - Miss Brewster (sister of the bride), and Miss Large. Their dresses were of Blue hopsac, and they wore black picture hats. Each carried a bouquet, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr. G Hutchins was "best man.". The Rev. S Jones was the officiating clergyman. The bridge was given away by her father. There were many presents, including a hall set by the young ladies association with the business establishment of Mrs. Haken, on the Cornhill, where the bridegroom has been manager for several years. During the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Woods left Bury St. Edmund's for Lowestoft, where the honeymoon will be spent.

    I would think there were more children but as one record officially closed on 1939 Census but too many WOODS/WALKER children come up born in Essex, and Janet Susan WOODS was actually born in Islington, So cannot be certain of any other children for th is couple
