  1. 1841 Census - High Street, Somersham, Huntingdonshire
  2. 1851 Census - Warners Meadow, Somersham, Huntingdonshire, lodging with John Woolstone DRING and family
  3. 1857 Paradise Street, Lambeth, Surrey
  4. 1881 1Census -  Princess Terrace (Nine Elms Lane), Battersea, Surrey
  5. Father - Joseph HART - Engineer, Mother Elizabeth LEIGHTON
  6. 1861 - Census - 19 East Street, Lambeth, Surrey. I have a query regarding the son shown on this Census as he is down as Henry ASPINALL aged 10 months, born Lambeth, Surrey. If he appears again he must be the William Harry we had down on already/ In which case where did the name William come from and why do we have him as born in Kensington. I still think it is the same child so have not added another one.
  7. 1871 Census - Nine Elms Lane, Battersea, Surrey. Again the eldest child is on the Census as Henry, born Lambeth
  8. See Aspinall Chart 0403. As you can see Arthur and Alfred both married someone with the surname SULLIVAN. I believe they were sisters. I think I have found them on the 1881 Census, their father being born in Ireland and we originally had Mary as possibly born in Ireland. The only problem is that on the 1881 Census she is shown as May not Mary. I still think this is the same family for both of them.
  9. 1891 Census - Alfred is living at 66 Nine Elms Lane, which is where the family lived. He is 21 and a Millwright, so everything correct. His mother was a Widow, again correct, age 57 born Somersham, Huntingdonshire. Agnes is down as Louisa, which was her second name, but otherwise the family were all there except for Arthur, as also living at the same address was the eldest son William. (see note 10)
  10. 1891 Census - 66 Nine Elms Lane, Battersea, London. William is living in the same house as his mother but he is married, this is new information. He is 34 a Bricklayer, born Kennington, London, his wife Julia is 32 born Houghton, Huntingdonshire, they have a daughter Louisa, age 2 born Battersea, London and a son Arthur, aged 2 months, also born Battersea, London.
  11. 1901 Census - 28 Atherton Street, Battersea, London, William is 41 a Bricklayer, born Lambeth, London, his wife Julia, is 42 born Huntingdonshire, Lots of extra children, all born Battersea, London, Louisa, 13, (Arthur not on this Census) Edith, 8, John 10 (order as shown), Victoria, 3, Margaret, 3. There was also a boarder, a Minnie Lambkin, age 13 born Wandsworth, London. A new Chart is needed for this family.
  12. 1901 Census - (I found the marriage of Agnes, to a CHAPLIN not a CHAPMAN as we had it. On the 1901 Census they were living at 32 Ingelow? Road, Battersea, London, Robert was 33 a Goldsmith and Jeweler, born Battersea, London, Agnes was 29 and born Battersea, London and there son William R CHAPLIN was 6 born Putney, London. Will put a new Chart on for this family.
  13. 1901 Census -Also Ingelow? Road, Battersea, no number at top of Census form but next house down is number 34, Albert E BENNETT was 23, a Mechanical Engineer, born Battersea, London, his wife Emily was 20, also born Battersea and their son Albert J was 8 months and also born Battersea, London.
  14. 1901 Census - 2 Gladstone Road, Battersea, London - On the BMD he is down as above, but on the 1901 Census he is down as John, he is 32, a Costermonger, (Greengrocer) cannot see where he is born ??? London, his wife is Florence, 26, born Battersea, London and their child at this time is Thomas, aged 3, also born Battersea, London, our previous information said that this family also had two daughters but I would think these were born after 1901 and therefore I do not have their names. I will make a Chart showing the son and also showing two daughters.
  15. I cannot find Jane on the 1901 Census, but there is a death on the BMD which fits as the age is down as 66 on death.
  16. 1891 Census - John is a Boarder, married, age 60, born Somersham, Huntingdonshire, at Church End, Arlesey, Bedfordshire. This ties in better than the information we had of him dying before 1889, but leaves a query about the dcd in 1889 on his occupations.
  17. 1911 36 Reform Street Battersea S W. With the family was Johanna SULLIVAN mother of wife a widow aged 76 born Kildorey, Ireland.

Lots of additional information added to this Chart, I think this goes as far as I can at the present time.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
