  6. 1871 Census - The Chequers, Darenth, Kent. On this Census there was their son, 11 months, born Darenth, Kent and there was an Amelia E BARNETT, sister in law, aged 12 born Dartford, Kent. There was also a servant a Pot Boy.
    1881 Census - The Chequers, Darenth, Kent. There was an Edith HART, sister in law, aged 26, married born Dartford, Kent and Lilian E HART, niece, aged 11 months born Dartford, Kent. There were other people in the house, servants and lodgers. There was just Edmund and Harriet, (no children).

Also with the family was Frederick NEWNS, brother aged 16 a Labourer in ???, born Dartford, Kent, Elizabeth NEWNS, mother aged 62 born Brasted, Kent  a widow and Mary BARNETT, mother-in-law  a widow, aged 72 born Dartford, Kent
    1901 Census - 28 St Albans Road, Dartford, Kent. Two children, Lilian E aged 10 and Mabel E aged 9, George' mother Elizabeth still with family, aged 72.

    1881 Census - The Chequers, Darenth, Kent. With her sister Harriet and her husband. Her daughter Lilian E HART, aged 11 months born Dartford, Kent was also with them.

    1891 Ton Street, Topsham, Devon. With the family was Elizabeth PERNET Mother a Widow Aged ??? (line through age makes impossible to read) Living on her own means, born Hampton court, Middlesex. There were also three servants with the family.

    1911 76 Fulwich Road, Dartford, Kent.
