    1901 Popes Lane, Warboys, Huntingdonshire. Mabel was with her Grandparents on this Census, she is down as being a Granddaughter age 10, born Warboys, Huntingdonshire. They are living next door but one to William Shelton and his family above. There is a DOCKERILL family between them. The Head is William RUFF, aged 65 an Agricultural Labourer, his wife is Rebecca, aged 69, born Bluntisham, they have a daughter a Sarah E RUFF aged 29 a Farm Worker, born Warboys, then comes three grandchildren on of which is Mabel, The first listed is Nellie RUFF, aged 3 born Nuttal, Nottinghamshire (Granddaughter) then there is Mabel and finally there is Charles RUFF aged 7 born Warboys. I would think that Charles is also a son of William and Elizabeth, but I at the present time I cannot prove this.
