1891 Census - Bridge Farm, Ramsey, Essex
1901 Census - The Street, Ramsey, Essex. There is a Granddaughter Amy (see Note 6) Now aged 16 she is down as a Pupil Teacher.
  2. 1841 Census - Wix Greens, Wix, Essex.
1851 Census - The Hale, Beaumont cum Moze, Essex. Maria was a Servant to a R C SALMON, a Farmer.
1861 Census - Brite? Vitner? Farm, Ramsey, Essex
1871 Census - Colchester Road, Wix, Essex, Both Mary Ann and Charles are down as being 9 on this Census.
1881 Census - Bridge Farm, Ramsey, Essex
1891 Census - Bridge Farm, Ramsey, Essex
1901 Census - The Street, Ramsey, Essex. There is a Granddaughter Amy (see Note 6) Now aged 16 she is down as a Pupil Teacher.
  3. 1861 Census - Brite? Vitner? Farm, Ramsey, Essex
1871 Census - Colchester Road, Wix, Essex, Both Mary Ann and Charles are down as being 9 on this Census.
  4. 1871 Census - Colchester Road, Wix, Essex,
1881 Census - Bridge Farm, Ramsey, Essex
1901 Census - The Street, Ramsey, Essex.
1911 The Street Ramsey, Essex. With Charles is Emily Beneworth, Niece aged 21 a Housekeeper born Ramsey, Essex and Beatrice Annie PLATER Niece aged 12 School born Tottenham, Middlesex
  5. 1871 Census - Colchester Road, Wix, Essex,
1901 Census - 179 Sherrard Road, East Ham, Essex. Everything is right, BMD details, age of Mary and place, but they have a child Cecily, aged 11 born Ramsey, Essex. I would think that as she was born in Ramsey that Mary had this child before marriage. The marriage in 1897 is for a Mary Ann BENEWORTH, so it does not look as though it was her second marriage. There were two further children which tie in as the children of Mary and Frederick, they are Beatrice aged 2 and Charles aged 1 both born in Tottenham, Middlesex. I had my doubts about this marriage and the one of Fanny but they both appear to have moved to Tottenham, Middlesex, although Mary then appears to have moved to East Ham.
  6. 1871 Census - Colchester Road, Wix, Essex, Both Mary Ann and Charles are down as being 9 on this Census.
1881 Census - Bridge Farm, Ramsey, Essex
1891 Census - 64 Grove Park Road, Tottenham, Middlesex. No age for Frederick shows as it has been crossed through but you can see
"months" so assume he had just been born - he does not appear on the 1901 Census). There was a Lydia TRUNDLER a widow aged 47 born Chingford, Essex, a Nurse so again assume she was looking after the new mother and her baby.
1901 Census - 12 Elmer Road, Tottenham, Middlesex. There was two Boarders with Fanny and George both working on the Railway. Fanny and Goerge had a daughter Jessie COLEBY, aged 6 born Tottenham, Middlesex
1911 29 Dongola Road Tottenham, Middlesex. Fanny is down as having had two children, one survives and one had died by the date of this Census.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
