2015  Obituary from Newspaper found on FindaGrave Web Site
    Bodner, Joseph H. Sr.
MECHANICVILLE - Joseph H. Bodner Sr., 68, of Hemstreet Park, died suddenly at home, late Friday night, January 2, 2015. Born in Troy, January 18, 1946, he was the son of the late Alexander J. and Marie McWhinnie Bodner Sr.
A 1964 Mechanicville High School graduate, he went on to receive degrees and certifications at Hudson Valley Community College, and DeVry Institute of Technology and Electronics, where he was valedictorian. He procured multiple certifications, licenses, honors and recognition throughout his career, including master plumber and master electrician, things he was very proud of. He never passed up an opportunity to share his knowledge with anyone.
Joe worked for the last 40 years as a refrigeration engineer for Price Chopper/The Golub Corp. and had also served as the northern district superintendent of Niagra Mohawk for almost 10 years. He was the owner/operator of JHB Service Engineering, a local business he ran. He was a skilled craftsman in many trades, with not many things he wasn't able to do, and do well. Joe was an active 40 year member of the Hemstreet Park Fire Department. He took great pride in his overall health and well being, staying active in the gym, was still an active boxer, and also was a black belt in Karate.
A genuinely kind man, Joe was always willing to help those around him, whether it was with a project around the home or just thorugh conversation. His love for his community and its history was displayed in many conversations he had with others. One of his greatest joys was the pride he took in the restoration of his historical home, something he was accomplishing recently.
Survivors include his children, Joseph H. (Jody Cady) Bodner Jr. of Mechanicville, Cindy (Shawn) Just of Clifton Park; grandson, Shawn Just Jr., and the love of his life and best friend, his fiancee, Bea Tipanaro. Also his brothers, Alexander (Carol) Bodner Jr. of Clifton Park and David (Linda) Bodner of Ocala, Fla., along with several nieces and nephews.
A Liturgy of the Word funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 North Main St., Mechanicville with burial to follow in Hudson View Cemetery. Calling hours at All Saints on the Hudson Church on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, rememberances may be made to the Hemstreet Park Fire Department in memory of Joseph H. Bodner Sr.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
