    1891 Census - 18 Hibernia Street, Ramsgate, Kent. With them is a Charles BOWERS he is 27 and down as a son.

    1851 Cottage at the back, Camden Place, Ramsgate, Kent. Margaret is down as Mariners wife born Walmer, Kent. I think at the same address was a John SUDD a widower aged 73 a Fisherman born at Clive, Kent and Ancestry has shown him as her husband, but looking at the Census this is incorrect as there is a definite line between John and Margaret. Margaret is down as married and aged 28. She had three children George BOWERS 6, James BOWERS 4 (James married a Mary and is down as a Fisherman on the 1871 Census) and William BOWERS aged 8 months, William is down as being blind.
