  1. 1861 Census - Mill House, Somersham, Huntingdonshire. John BRADSHAW was 32, an Ag Lab born Chawson, Bedfordshire, Isabella was 34, she was born in Somersham, Huntingdonshire as were their three children on this Census - Jane A, aged 5, Emma, aged 3 and William, aged 1. I will put in a new Chart for this family.
  2. 1871 Census - Stanley Road, Fulham, London (on Ancestry.com it appears that they have scanned a book and the number of the house in Stanley Road cannot be seen as it is down the fold in the middle)
  3. 1881 Census - 32 Broxholm Rd, Fulham, London - This is a wonderful Census return for us, as we find a large family at this address, Emma has married and has a child and I will add a Chart for her family. The main interest to us is however that they had two visitors, a William WHEATON, age 22 born Somersham, Huntingdonshire a Labourer and Eliza WHEATON, aged 15 a Domestic Servant, also born Somersham. WHEATON is one of the main names we are researching. These were the children (brother and sister)  of William WHEATON and Ann ASPINALL which appear on WHEATON Chart 0500 and on this Chart there is a Note 10 which already refers to this family so this makes the connection. The was also a James Barron, age 22 unmarried, a Labourer, no birth place given, but the person above was born in Fulham, so this is the likely place.
  4. 1891 Census - 17 Athendale Road, Fulham, London. The Dredge family are still with the family but Emma must have died as Thomas is down as a Widower. Eliza DREDGE is 11 and Emma DREDGE is 7 their birth place is ditto's from their father as Wells, Somerset, but I think they were both born in Fulham, London.
  5. 1891 Census - 33 Dymock Street, Fulham, London.
  6. 1891 Census - There is a Jane in Fulham (10 Harwood Terrace) born Somersham of the correct age, I think this must be the correct Jane, details above. They had children Ester aged 9, Henry, aged 5, Sarah, aged 3 and Richard aged 1, all born in Fulham, London. Will add a Chart for this family and also look on 1881 Census. Looking on the 1881 Census I had some doubts about this assumption as there were other Jane's in London who were the right age and born in Somersham. I looked on the BMD and there is a marriage of  Jane Ann BRADSHAW in March quarter of 1879, which looking at the age of the children would be around the right time. She married a DAVIS which is brilliant but he is down as Alfred not Richard as he appears on the 1891 Census. Still now think it is the correct marriage and family. Have left as I had it for the present time. Cannot find on 1881 Census.
  7. 1901 Census  - I have found an Alfred DAVIS, of the correct age born Greet Gloucestershire, which could be the correct person, living at 44 Stephendale Road, Fulham London, he is a General Labourer, a Widower and had a son Henry aged 15 which would tie up with the son on the 1891 Census. There is no other children on the Census, so if this is the correct one what happened to Ester, Sarah and Richard.
  8. Cannot find family on 1901 Census. There is just one marriage in Fulham for a Sarah BRADSHAW but cannot find either of the possible surnames on the 1901 Census and the same goes for Eliza BRADSHAW, but again cannot find anything that matches the surnames given on the 1901 Census. Cannot find either John or Isabella. (now found Isabella, see Note 12) So also John as he had died.
  9. 33 Dymock Street, Fulham, London.
  10. Now found marriage on the BMD so it appears that his name was Alfred, not Richard as he appears on the 1891 Census.
  11. 1881 Census - 30 Stanley Road, Fulham, Middlesex
  12. 1901 Census - 21 Avalon Road, Fulham, London. Ancestry.com has listed several people on this Census, as there is a shortage of "Head" appearing, but I think there are only three people involved at this address. Emma DREDGE is down as a relative she is 17 and a Domestic Servant, also there is a Sarah DAVIS who is 13 and also down as a Relative and this ties up with Emma BRADSHAWS sister, and the person above them but down as wife, but also as a widow is Isabella BRADSHAW, aged 67 a Laundress, born Somersham, Huntingdonshire. (so another good find)

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
