  10. On the chart I was sent I am told there were 8 children in total, one of the an Austin BURDEN who  married a Doreen ELSWORTH and is down as having three children'
    The BMD has the following two children born between 1911 and 1915
    Stanley G born March quarter 1912 Wimborne district, Dorset
    Douglas V born June quarter 1915 Wimborne district, Dorset
    born with BURDEN as surname and Dacombe as mother maiden name
    However the 1916-2005 has the following children born in Wimborne with BURDEN as surname and DACOMBE as mother maiden name, as can be seen there are nine more children. There is an Austin. so that covers one of the children but with the two on the 1911 Census and the two born between 1911 and 1915 that makes a total of 13 children. I have my doubts about them all belong to the same family as we already have a Stanley born in 1912 and the Stanley on the list below is too close to Austin who we know was a child for this family. BURDEN and DACOMBE are both quite common names in Wimborne so perhaps there was another marriage of a BURDEN to a DACOMBE:

    There was a marriage of an Alfred S BURDEN in March quarter 1925 to a Frances E DACOMBE. I therefore have shown on chart about all of the children as children of Horace and Ellen up until this date. This account for six of the eight children that the charts sent to me mention. I do not know which of the last children belong to which family so have just put child Dacombe on the chart above. The chart for Alfred S BURDEN and Frances Ethel DACOMBE will come off DACOMBE Chart 0422 and on the charts sent to me the last four children, Stanley, Ruth, Edna and Henrietta are shown as children of this couple. That now covers all the children with the name BURDEN and with the mother's maiden name as DACOMBE
