The caption to this picture reads:
Gardner and Burgess's (partners 1894-1924) horse and coal wagon outside the office, No. 47 Chase Side (1906-1976) in 1910. Winckles Gardner had an office in Church Street 1882 and still in 1889 and at Enfield (GNR) station year. Windmill Hill by 1893 till at least 1939. They also had an office at No. 32 Church Street 1898-1906. Vincent Burgess is standing by the fence.
