  1. 1841 Census - High Street, Walmer, Kent.
Edward had died by 1851. On the BMD there are the two deaths in the correct district for an Edward BURNAP I do not know which one relates to our Edward above.
  2. 1841 Census - High Street, Walmer, Kent.
1851 Census - Ash Next Sandwich, Kent. Sarah appears again on this Census and this time without the rounding up and down she is born in 1796 and in Sandwich, Kent. Hence my reasoning that this is the correct Edward and marriage. I will put a chart on for this family, but it could be wrong, but as such an unusual name I am fairly certain that this is the right connection. Sarah is down as a widow but under occupation she has Painters widow and Richard her son on the 1841 Census is with her. He is 23 a Painter and born in Walmer, Kent. Also with the family was a Caroline FELLS, she married in 1852 Henry Percival BURNAP the youngest son above.
  3. IGI Baptism for actual record.
1841 Census - High Street, Walmer, Kent.
  4. 1841 Census - High Street, Walmer, Kent.
1851 Census - Ash Next Sandwich, Kent. Also with the family was a Caroline FELLS, she married in 1852 Henry Percival BURNAP the youngest son above.
1861 Census - Boyle Street, Folkstone St Mary and St Eanswythe, Kent
  5. 1841 Census - High Street, Walmer, Kent.
1851 Census - 25 Fetter Lane, St Dunstan in the West, West London. Henry is down as a cousin. He is with Frederick M(c) COURTNEY (this might not be Mc but just M) Frederick is 23 unmarried and a Law Stationer born Whitechapel, Middlesex, his mother, a widow Charlotte, aged 56 born Staple, Kent is with him as well as his sister Jane aged 27 who was born in Whitechapel, Middlesex.
1852 Fetter Lane, West London, London (address at first marriage)
1871 Census - 19 Great Bath Street, Clerkenwell, Middlesex.
1878 140 Farringdon Road Buildings Clerkenwell, Islington, London (baptisms of Nellie, Lillia, Agnes and Frederick)

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
