    SCHUYLERVILLE - Jesse H. Camfield, 43, of Schuylerville,, formerly of Mechanville, died Monday in the Saratoga Hospital after a short illness. Mr Camfield was born in Mechanicville, son of the late Jesse and Mae Smith Camfield. He had been an area resident all of his life.
    He is survived by his wife, Florence Morey Camfield; four daughters, Florence, Patsy, Debbie, and Mary; four sons, Jesse H. Jr., Robert, Stephen and Joel; all of Schuylerville; a sister, Mrs. Edna LaClaire, Mechanicville, and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral service will be conducted today at 10 a.m. at the T. L. Cassidy Funeral Home, 126 North Second Ave., Mechanicville, by the Rev. Robert G. Field, rector of St. Luke's Epscopal Church, Interment will follow in the Hudson View Cemetery.

    Mrs. Florence M. Camfield
    SCHUYLERVILLE - Mrs. Florence M. Camfield, 38, of RD 1, Schuylervville, died Friday evening following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Jesse H. Camfield who died June 6. She was born in Philadelphia Nov. 13, 1928 and had lived in Mechanicville. She moved to Schuylerville 10 years ago. Mrs Camfield was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church of Mechanicville.
    She is survived by her mother, Mrs Florence Senecal Morey of Mechanicville; four sons, Pvt. Jesse, US Army, stationed at Fort Gordon Ga.; Robert, Stephen and Joel, all of RD 1, Schuylerville; four daughters, Mrs Florence FELT of Hoosick Falls, and the Misses Patsy, Debbie and Mary, all of RD 1, Schuylerville; four brothers, George, Raymond, Alfred and James Morey, all of Mechanicville; four sisters, Mrs Irene Bartlett of Mechanicville; Mrs. Rose Quick of Troy; Mrs Edith Lape of West Sand Lake; and Mrs. Mary Alice Rose of Johnsonville.
    Funeral services were conducted Monday at the T. L. Cassidy Funeral Home at Mechanicville. Intermant was in Mechanicville.

    Florence Mae Camfield, dauther of Mrs. Jesse Camfield, Schuylerville, and the late Mr. Camfield, became the bride of Kenneth Allen Felt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rayond Allen, 69 Eddy St.,, Greenwich, \\\nov. 20, at the Quaker Springs Methodist Church , with Rev. Jordan D. Cole, pastor, officiating.
    The bride, given in marriate by her uncle, Irving Rose, wroe a gown of white with a pattern of metallic thread. Her fingertip veil of nylon tulle was attached to a crown of miniature roses. She carried a colonial bouquet of white pompons and roses.
    Miss Myrtle Allen, Greenwich, was maid of honor. She chose a blue silk dress with matching hat and carried a colonial bouquet of pink pompons and roses.
    Raymond Allen, Greenwich, was best man. Raymond Felt and Albert Brown were ushers.
    The bride's mother wore a green and black print light wool dress with matching hat and a corsgafe of yellow mums.
    The bridegroom's mother wore a blue silk dress, matching hat and corsage of pink mums.
    The reception followed the ceremony in the dining room of the church.
    For their wedding trip to Cape Cod and the New England States the bride chose a light wool suit of powder blued with matching hat.
    The bride attended Schuylerville Central School and the bridegroom attended Greenwich Central School. 
    The couple will reside in Hoosick Falls.

    SARATOGA SPRINGS - Mrs. Florence M. Wine, 27, of 26 Van Doren St. Saratoga Springs, died Wednesday at Saratoga Springs Hospital, after a long illness.
    Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Florence Morey Camfield. She resided in the area all of her life.
    Survivors include her husband, John Wine; two brothers, Jesse Camfield of Schuylerville and Robert Camfield of Schenectady; three sisters, Mrs. Patsy Brackett of Okinawa; Mrs. Mary Warner of Saratoga Spa and Mrs. Debbie Felt of tMills.
    The funeral will be Saturay at 10 a.m. from the T. L. Cassidy Funeral Home, 126 North 2nd Ave., Mechanicivlle, with Rev. David J. Rowe, past of Emmanuel United Church, officiating. Internement will be in Hudson View Cemetery, Mechanicville.

    Funeral services for 15-year-old Stephen J. Camfield who was among the eight persons burned to death in the Jan. 3 fire at Wilton, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today from the T. L. Casidy Funeral Home at 126 North second Avenue, Mechanicville.
    Rev. George Laulfuss, rector of St. Luke's Episcopal Church of Mechanicvill, will officiate. Internment will take place in Hudson View Cemetery at Mechanicville.
    A memorial service will also be held at the same time and place of Joel E. Camfield, his ten year old brother, also a fire victim, whose body had not been recovered yet from the fire ruins.
    Stephen was born as Schuylerville Feb. 20, 1954 and attended South Glens Falls Junior High School and with in the 9th grade. Joel was also born at Schuylerville on March 18, 1959.. He attended the fifth grade in the Ballard Road School at Wilton. Both children attended the Mechanicville Publis Schools two or three year ago when they resided in this area.
    They were the sons of the late Jesse and Florence Morey CAMFIELD. The boys are survived by four sister, Mrs. Florence Felt of Hoosick Falls, and the Misses Patricia, Debbie and Mary Jane Camfield, all of Sratoga Spinges; two brother, Jesse Camfield of Schuylerivlle and Robert Camfield of Schaghticoke. Also surviving are several aunts and uncles.

    Mary Jane Ali, passed away at the age of 63, at her residence, surrounded by her children, on Friday, May 1, 2020, after a long battle with cancer.
    She was born in Saratoga Springs, New York to the late Jesse and Florence (Morey) Camfield.
    She lived a full life, spending time in New York, Florida and Pennsylvania. She was very passionate about her houseplants and garden, as well as, her Chihuahua, Lil Man, that she loved deeply. She had many friends and it was important to her to keep in contact with her family and loved ones. She was an avid frog collector and was very proud of her collection. Her favorite holiday was Halloween which she enjoyed decorating for every year and dressing up to have a party.
    Mary is gracefully survived by three daughters, Heather Nolan, Lola Jenkins, Linda Jenkins; two sons, Richard Jenkins, Jr., Nolan Jenkins; five grandchildren, Mikayla Green, Kendra Jenkins, Faith Hash, Johnathan Jenkins, Noah Jenkins; a great-granddaughter, Esmerelda Green; two sisters, Debbie Manney, Patsy Harris and her ex-husband, Richard Jenkins, Sr., as well as, several niece and nephews.
    Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

    Calls off Search of Fire Ruins
    Afer two day of searching ruins of the Jan. 2 fire at Wilton, which claimed eight lives, Saratoga County Sheriff Lee A. Scherer has called off the dearch. Although three bodies were never recovered. Sheriff Scherer said "I am statisfied that we have done evrything possible and now we can call the case closed."
    For two days this week, the search was resumed wth county highway equipment at the site on Parkhurst Rd. Missing are the bodies of Terri Ann Paulin, six; Joel Camfield, 10, and Warren Rusk six. Now that all search efforts have been futile, steps can be taken to declare the victims legally deceased. Removed from the ruins after the fire were the bodies of Harry Rusk, 34; his wife, Donna, 32; their son, Stephe, 10; Stephen Camfield, 15, and Penny Sue Paulin 10.

    Note:- The obituary of the parents above shown there were 8 children born for this couple four sons and four daughters, no ages given so at this early stage of research I have not found when they were born except for two sons who were killed in a house fire in 1970. At this stage I have put in the four sons shown on obituary in order the were listed and the four sisters following again in order listed but I expect they should be mixed together, will move them around to correct poaistion if I find more details.
