In the same property was a Female Servant, Jane BOOKHAM (15) born Surrey 1851 Gumber, Sussex 1861 Gumber, Sussex 1871 Gumber, Slindon, Sussex 1881 Chichester Road, Warburton, Sussex 1841 Ramnesh Common, Chiddingfold, Surrey 1851 Dunsfold, Surrey. House Servant to John HOAR (51) Grocer, Widower and his son also John HOAR (25) both born Dunsfold, Surrey. There were three other servants, Ann KENNINGTON (16) House Servant born Kirdford, Sussex, George HARVEY (21) and William WOODS (15) both Servants born Dunsfold, Surrey 1871 The Parrot, Shalford, Sussex 1881 Shalford, Sussex 1891 Bethut(?) Mill, Aldingbourne, Sussex. Living with her brother James and sister Susan as Mrs HOAR Age 66 which is why I have decided that Mrs HOAR was Charlotte...and I have now found the 1851 census information which partly proves this. However no marriage has been found. There is a Charlotte CHALCRAFT marriage in 1855 which is the right date, but not to a HOAR. Details have been found for a Charlotte HOAR married to a William, but no marriage. 1841 Ramnesh Common, Chiddingfold, Surrey 1841 Ramnesh Common, Chiddingfold, Surrey 1851 Gumber, Sussex 1841 Ramnesh Common, Chiddingfold, Surrey 1861 Gosain(?) Common, Shalford, Surrey. Lodging with Charles WHITE (63 Ag Lab orn Chiddingfold, Surrey, his wife Sarah (60) born Dunsfold, Surrey and Son Frederick (16) born Northchapel. Another Lodger was Henry HARPER (40) Unmarried Agricultural Labourer born Dunsfold, Surrey 1871 Rasmarsh Road, Shalford, Surrey 1841 Ramnesh Common, Chiddingfold, Surrey 1851 Gumber, Sussex 1841 Ramnesh Common, Chiddingfold, Surrey 1851 Gumber, Sussex 1861 Gumber, Sussex. Living with his parents 1871 Gumber, Slindon, Sussex. Living with his parents 1881 Chichester Road, Warburton, Sussex. Living with his parents 1891 Bethut(?) Mill, Aldingbourne, Sussex. Living with him were his sisters Susan CHALCRAFT and Mrs HOAR (As she was 66 I believe this to be Charlotte and have entered the information to that effect) 1901 Ballshut(?), Aldingbourne, Sussex as married, no wife on census. Living with his was his sister Susan CHALCRAFT Baptism: No baptism in Chiddingfold, only one for son of William and Jane 1 January 183630 Was this a second baptism for the William born 1831. No burial was found for the first William between 1831 and 1836 in Chiddingfold, and no further information has yet been found for this William I think this William should be the son of William and Jane TANNER 1841 Ramnesh Common, Chiddingfold, Surrey 1841 Ramnesh Common, Chiddingfold, Surrey 1851 Gumber, Sussex 1851 Gumber, Sussex 1851 Gumber, Sussex 1861 Gumber, Sussex 1891 Bethut(?) Mill, Aldingbourne, Sussex. Living with her brother James and her sister Mrs HOAR - as she was 66 I believe this to be Charlotte 1901 On Small holding, Aldingbourne, Sussex as married, no wife on census. Living with her brother James
