    Name: Catherine Kay Clark , 86 
    Died: November 28, 2005, in Midland 
    Catherine (Kay ) Clark MURPHY passed away on November 28, 2005. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Chariton, Iowa. Kay was born September 6, 1919 in Clarinda, Iowa, the daughter of Orliff A. and Sylvesta Clark. Kay grew up in Iowa and attended the University of Iowa, she later transferred to Barnard College in New York City. In 1940, while living in New York she met and married William K. Murphy. Bill died in 1983 and Kay subsequently became active in the family business Murphy Door Bed Co. 
    In 1987, she moved from New York to become a resident of Midland, Texas. She is survived by one son Clark Murphy, of New York and a brother, George E. Clark, of Midland, TX. 
    We wish to acknowledge and express our gratitude to her caregiver, Nestora DeAnda, Home Hospice and Hospice of Midland.
