  4. John C A DACOMBE married twice in Lincolnshire in 1951 to a Mary OSMOND in Grimsby and in 1958 to a Maureen BENNETT in Cleethorpes (I was trying to see if the C in his name was Caleb, although not found on Ancestry as I have now found death occurred after 2005 which is when Ancestry deaths stop, I did a "Google for a John Caleb DACOMBE and came up with the following which must be him):
DACOMBE John Caleb Arthur (Skipper) (And of the Hawaiian Eye Café) Peacefully on the 5th of December 2010 whilst in the loving care of St Andrews Hospice Grimsby. Dear John aged 83 years of Cleethorpes, husband and friend of Maureen. Loving father of Jane and Johnathan. Dearly loved papsey of Portia, Oliver and Sam. Loving father-in-law of Debbie. Grandfather-in-law of Hari. Very dearly loved and respected by all his family and friends and will be very sadly missed. The service is to take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Tuesday the 14th of December 2010 at 1.00pm. John is resting at Alexanders Funeral Care, Alexander House, 70 Carr Lane, Grimsby, DN32 8JP to where family flowers only please by request may be sent or if so desired donations in lieu made payable to Alexanders Donation Account and the final sum will be forwarded to the St Andrews Hospice.
I think that this proves that I have the right person and he was indeed a son of Caleb.
    and the following:
DACOMBE John Caleb Arthur (Skipper) (And of the Hawaiian Eye Café) Maureen, Jane, Jonothan and families would like to thank relatives and friends for attending the service, and for their cards and messages of sympathy and generous donations to St Andrews Hospice in memory of 'Dear John'. Special thanks to St Andrews Hospice for their loving care and friendship towards John and the family and to Carol and the District Nurses at Clee Medical Centre. Thanks to Mark Tyack for his appropriate words and to Tony Alexander for his personal and professional services.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
