  1. The Banns for his first marriage appear to have happened on 25th November 1792 although no dates are given, they did not married until 1801 which is very strange
  2. The Banns for this marriage appear to have happened on 25th November 1792 although no dates are given, they did not married until 1801 which is very strange

  6. 1841 Ravens Street, Lansdown, Walcot, Somerset. This entry on the 1841 ties up with the information I was given on the charts I was sent, but gives us the ages of the children and the county born in and also the christian name of George's wife and approximate age and George's occupation
1851 Walcot, Lansdown, Bath, Somerset.  Again this gives us additional information. Town of birth for Elizabeth, an actual aged of 49 and confirms that George was born in St Giles, Dorset.
1861 4 Burlington Place, Walcot, Lansdown, Bath, Somerset. There were three boarders also with the family.
1871 4 Burlington Place, Walcot, Lansdown, Bath, Somerset.  There were three boarders also with the family.
  7. 1851 The Street, Gussage All Saints, Dorset. Children Georgina aged 17 born St Giles, Dorset, Edward aged 12 a Scholar born Gussage All Saints, Dorset and Frederick aged 3 born Gussage All Saints, Dorset. (The chart sent to me does not show Georgina, there was another child Emily shown as being younger than Frederick which I will see if I can find on the 1861 Census). The chart sent to me does show an older child a John James DACOMBE born 1836 but he does not appear on this Census. On the chart I was given it shows Charles born 1806 and then their is a b Aldershot. However on the 1851 he is down as being born in St Giles, Dorset, which is where I would expect him to be born. I think the b therefore is for buried. His wife is shown as Maria born 1810 but her birth again after the 1810 their is a b Bournemouth, but on the 1851 Census she is down as being born in Badminton, Gloucestershire so again I think the b is for buried.
1861 Pokesdown, Christchurch, Hampshire. Children on this Census John aged 24 a Painter born St Giles Dorset, Frederick aged 13 a Scholar born Gussage All Saints, Dorset, Emily aged 8 born Gussage All Saints, Dorset and Louisa aged 4 born Holedenhurst, Hampshire. (On the chart I was sent Louisa has been crossed through and then a line has been drawn down from Emily with Louisa under her as if she was a child of Emily but this cannot be the case. So we have another child. Full details will be shown when I put the chart on for this family. (As can be seen John appears on this Census) On the chart I was sent marriages are shown for four of the above children and three of them have charts continuing from them.
  8.
  9.
  10. The marriage I have shown is that shown on the Charts I was sent, but I already have this marriage for a Jane DACOMBE, daughter of Caleb on DACOMBE Chart 0702 so one of them must be incorrect.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
