Father – John SULLIVAN – Labourer
I can find no death which suits Elizabeth DACKOMBE née SULLIVAN, but there are several Elizabeth marriages after 1914, the year of the death of Richard Aquilla. This is most likely as she still had young children. The most likely marriage is to a Henry DON in 1916 in Southwark district, but there are two others which could also be considered. To a Henry HOWES in 1914 in Holborn but I discounted this one as it was the wrong area and the same year as Richard died and to a CRABB in 1922 in Camberwell which is a possibility but she would by then only have Dolly at home who would be 12.

  8. 1911 Census - 4 Sandford Road, Walworth, SE

US Naturalisation document shows that Sophia married a George BUCK and at the time of Naturalisation had one child Maria? BUCK born 3rd January 1930 New York, USA.
Further details of Sophia shows she was living at 1275 Nelson Avenue NY Bronx NY was a housewife, was 34 years old and puts her birth down as June 27 1907 which is not what we originally had, she was born in London, England was a female, white, with medium complexion green eyes and black hair and was 5 feet tall and weighed 125 pounds. she had no distinctive marks and at the time her nationality was Great Britain. She had arrived on 18th August 1924 on the SS Celtic, which sailed from Southampton. Some confusion over the date of the document as it appears to be dated 10th June 1929 but as can be seen a child is mentioned who was born in 1930. It also says that the petition for nationalisation was denied because of LP. It appear that she signed herself Sophie BUCK (possibly with an X)
  9. 1911 Census - 4 Sandford Road, Walworth, SE
Have now found details of Dolly for her emigration to USA in 1930, she is down as a Waitress aged 19.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
