  1. Not on 1901 census as Edward Dackombe
Edward Charles Dackombe of 16 Lindon Road, Gillingham, Kent, died 17th December 1936 at 42 Magpie Hall Road, Chatham. (Probate) London 26th January 1937 to Etty Mary Dackombe, widow.  Effects £996 7s.
  2. 1901 Census - 107 Dennetts Road, St Pauls, Deptford, London. Looking at this Census again Etty and her daughter are at the same address as a Francis W BANKS who was 57 and a Pewterer born in Camberwell, as it was Etty's maiden name it is more than possibly that he was her father.  His wife however is down as a Maria C BANKS and was only 27 (Etty was 25), Maria was born in Rotherhithe, the rest of the family, which definitely suggest that it was Francis's second marriage were Ada F BANKS 19 an Under Lining Presser, daughter, Mary A BANKS 17 daughter, also an Under Lining Presser, both born in Camberwell and I suggest that these two daughter and Etty were from a first marriage of Francis whereas the final two children I would think were children from his marriage to Maria, these were William C BANKS aged 5, born New Cross, London and Alfred, aged 2 born New Cross, London, also with the family was a Mary A DINMORE, aged 64 down as Mother-in-Law aged 64 so possibly the mother of Maria.
Etty May Dackombe of 1 Canadian Avenue, Gillingham, Kent, widow, died 14th July 1963 at 37 Bewsbury Crosslane, Whitfield, Dover. Probate London 9th October 1963 to Albert Dackombe, Office manager and Joyce Eileen Pearce Dackombe, married woman. Effects £2,419 16s. 11d.
  3. 1901 Census - 107 Dennetts Road, St Pauls, Deptford, London.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
