There is an additional child Alice aged 9, but Julia's husband was dead on the 1881 Census so unless he had only just died and Alice was all but 10 on the 1891 it is difficult to see how she can be a child of his. Have added as a child at present as Julia is still down as a Widow on this Census.

1901 3 Step Row, Leek, Staffordshire. With the family was an Ada Read HARLME?, Granddaughter aged 10 born Leek, Staffordshire

Some confusion as to where these children were born, the 1861 Census when they were in Coventry, does not mention Kettering, Leicestershire. but I believe that is where the first children were born. Sarah the wife was born in Manchester and they have ditto'd this for Edwin and Wentworth and then have Coventry for all of the remaining children but I think only Emma was born in Coventry. On later Censuses Julia is down as being born in Kettering, so I would think her elder brother Henry was also born there but cannot find him after this census. Details shown come from a Family Tree on Ancestry. The BMD shows Wentworth to Alfred as being born in Kettering district. The first child Edwin was born before registration commenced. Now found Henry as DUDLEY on the 1891 Census in St Pancras down as being born in Kettering.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
