    Marriage Notes for Eldred EVERSON and Mary LUNN:
    No Edred or Eldred marriage found. On the 1911 census they show that they have been married for 29 years making the marriage date about 1882. In December quarter 1881 there is a marriage in the Downham District of Norfolk for an Edward EVERSON and Mary Elizabeth LUNN. Is this the marriage we are looking for? On the 1891 census the couple appear to be entered as Edward and Mary Elizabeth so it has been assumed that is the correct couple.
    I have spent ages on this one as Eldred is not always shown as that on census returns bring Edward at times and also, possibly for his marriage, whilst his wife, I think, is Mary Elizabeth on one census and Elizabeth on the next two. So, I have endeavoured to look for Edred and Edward on the various census. I have listed what I have found below. 
    * Although the name varies I do think the Edward of 1891 is actually Edred, the birth date and place of birth being reasonably similar
    * His wife, if the 1881 marriage and 1891 census are correct was a Mary Elizabeth, who later was known as Elizabeth
    * Her birth place in 1891 was Great Hale in Norfolk but in 1911 it was in Lincolnshire whilst in 1901 although shown as Seaford, that is in Lincolnshire 
    * There is an Edward and Edith in the 1891, 1901and 1911 census returns for Edward and Edred
