  1. 1881 Census - 53 Black Griffin Lane, Canterbury St Peter, Kent
1891 17 St George Street, Canterbury, Kent
1901 Census - 17 St Georges Street, Canterbury, Kent. Although this is not a direct connection to our family, I will add a Chart for these families at some stage in the future. On this Census this family had the following children, Wilfred L Fedarb abt 1896 Canterbury Son Canterbury Kent, Alexandra V Fedarb abt 1897 Canterbury Daughter Canterbury Kent , Victoria M Fedarb abt 1898 Canterbury Daughter Canterbury Kent. There was also a Servant - Annie Goldsack abt 1880 Canterbury Servant Canterbury Kent
I have been given further information regarding the family of Walter FEDARB and his family from a Denis BRIGHT, Alexandra Fedarb being his Grandmother, will add the Chart for this family in the near future and include all the information we have for the family.
    Family moved to Woking, Surrey
1911 Census - 12 St Georges Terrace Canterbury, Kent
  2. 1881 45 Palace Street, Canterbury. (This is next to the Archbishops Palace. Ada's father was a Picture Framer, aged 54 on this Census and born in Broughton, Kent, his wife was Charlotte aged52 and born in Blean, Kent, then there is Ada B (age not quite correct but as she appears on this Census as 17 and this would have made her born in 1865 not 1868 perhaps she wanted to appear younger than her husband. As she is the only Ada COLLINS in the Canterbury area and she is down as Ada B COLLINS I am fairly certain it is the correct family. She is down as a shop assistant, born in Canterbury, Kent. Then there is a younger child a Lydia C COLLINS, age 7 also born in Canterbury.
1891 17 St George Street, Canterbury, Kent
1911 Census - 12 St Georges Terrace Canterbury, Kent

Wilfred had been engaged to be married but if I remember she had died and although he was a conscientious objector he went to war with six weeks basic training and his remains were never found

Additional information in these notes from Denis BRIGHT

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SPELLING OF FEDARB VARIES ON THE BMD AND ON THE CENSUS RETURNS, ON ANCESTRY.COM IT IS BEST TO SEARCH WITH FED* BUT EVEN THEN THIS DOES NOT COVER ALL THE VARIATIONS. NORMALLY THIS IS ANCESTRY.COM's INTERPRETATION OF THE NAME, BUT IN MANY CASES EVEN LOOKING AT THE CENSUS IT DOES NOT APPEAR AS FEDARB. I THINK THE ENUMERATORS HAD A JOB DECIDING HOW TO SPELL IT.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
